We would like to congratulate Stan’s student Andrew Li for having been chosen to serve as concertmaster of the Needham High School Symphony Orchestra for this academic year. Andrew is a senior in Needham, and he has been studying violin with Stan since the summer of 2015. Andrew has been a star at our Studio Recitals too, performing masterpieces including Bach’s Sarabande from 1st Partita for Violin, Wieniawski’s Romance from 2nd Violin Concerto, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 1, Paganini’s 1st Violin Concerto, and Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen. Congratulations, Andrew — your talent and hard work deserve to be recognized!
